DOCUMENTARIES

We produce environmental, cultural and popular science documentaries. We are able to produce in remote and inaccessible areas, such as high environments, confined spaces or underwater environments.

WILD AND FREE COLOMBIA

The Republic of Colombia is a largely unknown natural paradise. Many national parks were closed off for decades as a result of wars. The guerrillas spread fear and terror but also unintentionally acted as armed guards for the local wildlife, preventing the expansion of human settlements, economic development and logging in the last remaining sections of untouched rainforests.

Only now, following successful negotiations and peace treaties between the government and the large guerrilla factions, is it becoming possible to explore the true beauty and diversity of Colombia’s nature. 2 x 50 minutes, written and directed by Harald Pokieser. A co-production by ORF, ORF Enterprise, ARTE GEIE, Doclights GmbH/NDR and Cosmos Factory, Fixing and location manager Cromatophoro.

EXPEDITION TO THE UNDERWATER HILLS AND RIDGES OF THE NORTHERN PACIFIC BASIN

In a race against time and climate change, the world's scientific community has proposed to protect at least 30% of the planet's marine areas before the year 2030, this is the goal of 30X30

Colombian politicians and scientists have joined this initiative, which is why a group of researchers embarks on an oceanographic expedition in the Pacific to explore one of the most promising areas to be declared a protected area, but it is also one of the the most unknown.

MAGDALENA FISHERMEN

Colombian culture is nourished by dances, music, and customs from all regions of the country. One of them is in danger of disappearing, the culture of the Magdalena fisherman. The fisherman's culture is intimately linked with the strength of the Magdalena River. Let's protect the river and with it our culture.

HIDDEN CREATURES OF SANTA MARIA

Between the Andes Mountains and the Eastern Plains in Colombia is Santa María, a place that sustains life and does so in abundance, which thanks to geological events created an area with two of the most diverse ecosystems on the planet: the rainforests tropical and sub-Andean forests, a place where life without being perceived, is immersed in a daily struggle, adapting to its environment, full of amazing stories where organisms are protagonists.

PACIFIC NETS (Part 1)

The coasts of Ecuador, Colombia, Panama and Costa Rica are bathed by the currents of a blue corridor in which life travels, giving one of the most amazing spectacles of diversity and abundance on the planet, this ecological system is called the Corridor Marine of the Eastern Tropical Pacific (CMAR). The documentary Pacific Nets, allows us to approach the reality of the fishermen of the Colombian Pacific, understanding part of their conflicts and generating a reflection on the way in which we are exploiting our oceans.
